The New Westminster Horticultural Society is giving out plant green-aids or bombs to children attending its annual plant sale on Sunday. The green-aids can be tossed into areas in need of beautification. At left, society member Carole Forsythe shows some of the seed bombs that students at Richard McBride Elementary School made to beautify the school grounds. Above, Richard McBride students dig in and make seed bombs from a blend of clay, compost, wildflower seeds and water rolled into a ball and dried.
