Fun and a fresh start for school CAP COM staff volunteered this summer to make dreams come true for children at Albany’s Marillac Family Shelter. Volunteers arrived at the shelter during their Family Barbeque to provide pony rides and hand out commemorative photos, cowboy hats, and free ice cream to all the children. The event has become a tradition for CAP COM. It is an opportunity to provide fun and laughter to the families living at the shelter. Marillac is also one of eight organizations that benefits from our

Foundation’s annual Back to School Backpack Program, which provides 265 backpacks filled with all the essential school supplies to Capital Region organizations that support children and families in need. The CAP COM Cares Foundation is committed to making memories and supporting education initiatives throughout our community. This year’s program was made possible by the generosity of our Foundation’s supporters, including the Kevin Curry Memorial Fund.
