Kids Earn Up To $70 Per Year

Making a Difference Awards Monetary awards are given each spring to teen members between the ages of 13 and 17 who have made a significant commitment to volunteer work and community service. Nominations can be made by a parent, teacher or friend, or by the teens themselves.

Our Youth Programs help children and young adults learn to save money so their savings will grow with them.

Young Adult Checking (ages 15-22) Unlimited free* ATM withdrawals worldwide and no minimum balance required. Teens ages 15-17 can open a Young Adult Checking Account with a parent or guardian as a joint owner. *CAP COM will reimburse members with a Young Adult Checking Account (ages 15-22) for any ATM surcharge or foreign transaction fee.

Weidner “Ed” Davis Scholarships These $2,500 scholarships are awarded each June to 15 local students. CAP COM members (through age 25) who are graduating high school seniors or pursuing an undergraduate degree can apply. Selection is based upon review of a submitted essay. Art Goedeke Scholarship For students (under age 25) who are planning to pursue a degree in computer science or information technology. This $2,000 award is given each year in March.
