As a child in a small Siberian village, I first came across mysterious tattoos when I was barely 11-12 years old. These decorations seemed mysterious to me, and I didn't even know what to call the art. I got insights about tattoos from ex-convicts and military men, the only ones who seemed to be surrounded by these unique symbols. Though my parents were familiar with tattoos, they hid them, not revealing that they were called "partak" in Russian and that they could even be created at home.
The
process
involved
creatively
modifying an old shaving machine, making a device out of a spoon, a pen rod, and, a guitar string. At the age of 12, I felt an interest in tattoos, although I didn't realize at all how it could be accomplished. After 6 years my paths crossed with professional tattoo equipment and I met a true master of this art. Having collected money for training in a tattoo studio, I bought the equipment
and
went
to
study.
My
first
experience was not easy, but I made effoan eeffectively and s, rived to deepen into the secrets of tattooing. At first I experimented with different styles, from colored tattoos and ornaments to graphics, but the one that appealed to me the most was black horror. This style attracted me with its depth and maximum contrast, in what I saw as a true aesthetic. My creations reflect my personal experiences, interests an, philosophy stemming from my difficult childhood. After losing my mother early and facing my father's alcoholism, I spent a year in foster care. All of these vicissitudes left an indelible mark on my life and art. The monsters I depict symbolize the darker sides of human nature. My creations do not deal with mythical monsters under the bed,bbedded ordinary but no less real aspects of our world. There is no room for fear in my perception of the horror I embody. Rather, I would view these "monsters" as potential companions to befriend. In art that creates horror, the sources are the inner demons that each of us chooses and carries within ourselves. The monsters that lurk within us are a key point in each of my works.

Among my decorations, there is also a Cheshire Cat, welcoming glances on my chest and neck. These tattoos are not just images, they are a manifestation of my deep love for cats. Every line, every detail of the cat on my chest and neck carries not only the colorfulness of the image butt also a piece of my passion for these amazing animals. In the world of tattoos, I went from homemade experiments, modifying an old shaving machine, to meeting a professional tattoo master and using specialized equipment. My first experience was a real challenge and I faced difficulties creating tattoos, but each next step became an

opportunity to discover something new.
TLet me tell you about the most unusual tattoo I had to create in all my years of work, about 56 years ago. A man walked into our studio out of the blue, not pre-booked. There was something solid in his appearance: a stylish suit, a suitcase in his hands. The glasses on his face gave him a serious look. Approaching the receptionist, he said: "There's a man there, he needs a heel mill." I was amazed at this unusual idea, but we implemented it and the man was satisfied. It was a real challenge to create a real mechanism on the skin. I also had a story with a guy who ordered a large inscription on his back from me. In the process, there was one letter left to finish. He asked for a break to go out for a smoke break. About 1015 minutes passed, I decided to call him.
In the tattoo I create, the macabre style becomes a kind of artistic expression where dark shades and deep contrasts help to create
a
mysterious
and
intriguing
atmosphere. I prefer to embody this style through the use of dark hues and detailing so that every line and shadow creates emotional tension and a visual effect of mysticism. My dark-style tattoos often embody themes related to gothic culture, darkness, and occult symbols. I try to invest them with images
of
mystical
creatures
such
as
vampires, werewolves, or skeletons, as well as use abstract elements to convey an atmosphere of mystery and unexplored facets of the human psyche. My tattoos in this style are often done in black and gray shades to emphasize dark He picks up the phone and whispers: "I'm sorry, the police took me away, I can't talk!" and hangs up. After this incident, I never saw him
again,
and
he
never
answered
my
messages. This strange situation left its mysterious traces in my memory.

Despite going through a lot of metal subgenres in my musical career I have always stayed loyal to one. The one and only NYHC – New York Hard Core scene. And one of the bands I have always listened to and enjoyed every single album is Biohazard. Four guys from Brooklyn, New York formed the band in 1987. They have
released
nine
studio
albums, a number of EPs and singles,
and
has
toured
extensively in the United States and Europe. With a sound that combines elements of punk, hip hop, and metal, Biohazard has consistently
pushed

Their first full-length album, Urban Discipline, was released in 1992 and was followed by State of the World Address in 1994, a release that saw the band gain more commercial success with the hits like 'Punishment' (with an opening monologue from the Dolph Lundgre’s Punisher) and 'Shades of Grey'. The band's third album Mata Leao was released in 1996 and saw the band moving away from their traditional hardcore sound and exploring more melodic sounds, as evidenced by the hit single 'How It Is'. The band then took a break in 1997 and returned in 1999 with the album New World Disorder. This album saw the band's return to their hardcore sound and featured the hit singles 'Wrong Side of The Tracks' and 'Sellout'. Their fifth album Uncivilization was released in 2001 and featured the hit single 'What Makes Us Tick'. The band then released

in
2002,
a
compilation album featuring hits from their previous albums.
In 2003, the band released Means to an End, their sixth studio album, which featured the hit single 'Loss'. Their seventh album Kill or Be Killed was released in 2006 and their eighth effort “Reborn in Defiance” was released in 2012 and featured the hit single 'Vengeance Is Mine'. The band has also released a number of EPs and singles, including the EP Biohazard: The Early Years in 1997, the singles collection Urban Discipline: Singles Collection in 2003, the EP Reborn in Defiance: The Early Years in 2013, and the EP Reborn Again in 2016. Biohazard has toured around the world performing at numerous festivals such as Ozzfest, Download Festival, and Rock am Ring. They have also toured with the likes of Slayer, Sepultura, Soulfly, and Machine Head. After some line up changes the band has recently reformed in the original line-up playing festivals and gigs in the US and Europe. Biohazard has earned a well-deserved reputation as one of the most influential and important bands in the metal genre. For over three decades, Biohazard has been creating music that has earned them a place in the annals of heavy metal history.
MADBALL When talking about NY Hard Core scene one cannot not mention Madball. This band has been a major influence in the New York hardcore scene since the late 1980s. Founded by brothers Freddy Cricien and Roger Miret, the band has developed a strong cult following with their aggressive and hard-hitting sound. The band has released eight studio albums, one live album, and several compilations
and
EPs.
Madball’s
music
has
been
described as a mix of hardcore punk, metal, and hip-hop, with the lyrics often consisting of politically charged topics.

experienced
numerous
line-up
changes over the years, they continue to remain a major influence in the hardcore punk scene. Recently the long standing bassist, Jorge “Hoya Roc” Guerra left the band to concentrate on his family, but despite that, Freddy promised more good things to come from the Madball crew.

Anna Bridges, who In March of 2022, became the first female tattoo convention promoter in Missouri. She organized/planned/promoted and put on an incredible show for the Carnival of Ink Tattoo network. The convention was held in Springfield, MO this past March and was a complete success! There was a solid mix of extremely talented artists, vendors, musicians, sexy gymnasts and even fire spinners. Anna's husband Joe, (who she met while putting on his first tattoo convention), is her biggest supporter. "Anna was the missing piece to make the Carnival what it is today." She can't wait to do it again, "It was an absolute humbling experience - a lot of hard work and patience. The best part of it all was seeing everyone having such a great time!"

Anna's sweet friend Kitty, who has been on the front lines at the Carnival of Ink shows, says "I'm so proud of Anna. She has worked so hard to help the Carnival of Ink grow and I know that she will succeed. I love this beautiful lady!" Anna not only promotes the ink, she's learning the trade. She's a license body piercer at next generation tattoo and body piercing in Springfield, Missouri. She is also under an apprenticeship for human suspension. With the plank team of living canvas, tattoo and body piercing.
When Covid hit the hotel industry (Anna used to work for Marriott), she had to get creative. Being involved in the tattoo industry introduced Anna to the world of suspension and fire spinning. "I saw everybody picking up new talents and new hobbies to occupy their time during Covid and I decided to pick up fire. I mainly learned off YouTube and by watching other spinners." Her biggest challenges right now are the fire staff and fire transfer, but don't count her out - she'll master it in no time! Spinning fire makes Anna feel "beautiful and in control - even sexy - I feel like I'm on cloud 9!" Her first suspension was a suicide suspension at the Carnival of Ink show in Kansas City, MO in 2021. She described it as "euphoric and exhilarating". She was suspended for three minutes and was so incredibly happy afterwards, it brought her to tears. Like the ink, this was also something she wanted to do again and again - she was hooked.
The Voodoo Doll = a nickname given to Anna by a previous mentor at Red Five Tattoo in Clarksville, TN. "My pain tolerance I think was a factor in that." You can see from those stunning photos that Voodoo Doll is settling right into life in front of the lights. "I feel the sexiest when I see myself in the photo shoots." Paparazzi Bombshell thought so too! In addition to everything else, she's also a model!

Out of it all, her first love will always be family. Without their support, she wouldn't be able to do any of this! When she's not doing a million other things? "We have a lake spot. We ride quads and fish and swim and get all muddy. No cell service. It's paradise."
What's next? "Who knows. I don't even know what's next, I'm just kinda rolling with the punches. Hopefully becoming an amazing tattoo artist." Whatever it is, we're here for it!
