John S. McLindon John S. McLindon started his law practice in 1989, after graduating from LSU Law School, and has remained in private practice for more than 25 years. He is of counsel with the firm of Walters, Papillion, Thomas, Cullens. With vast experience in a variety of areas of law, McLindon’s focus is on criminal defense and personal injury. He handles cases in both state court and federal court. He handles not only trials, but appeals as well, when necessary. McLindon also handles select business litigation cases. Although the majority of his practice is in Louisiana, McLindon handles certain cases in other states. McLindon is a successful trial attorney, having served as lead counsel in more than 40 jury trials. In his 25 years of practice, McLindon has obtained numerous successful judgments, verdicts, and settlements for his clients. In 1999, McLindon graduated from the National Criminal Defense College, the pre-eminent criminal defense training program in the United States.
