From cruises to vacation experiences such as luaus, liveentertainment shows, casino nights, sporting events, culinary journeys, and more –there’s something for everyone.
We’re also expanding our locations and will bring Experiences of a Lifetime to our resorts across the country, including vacation hot spots on Cape Cod and the West Coast.

I really enjoy sharing good news, especially when it means great things are happening for our Club members. In this issue, I am excited to announce the expansion of the Grand Crowne Resort with the new Owners Clubhouse & Amenity Center. With nearly 500 units, Grand Crowne Resort is one of the largest resorts in our system and the new amenities will significantly enhance the vacation experience for all our owners, guests, and their families. The new Owners Clubhouse & Amenity Center was a big investment for Capital Vacations that underscores our commitment to elevating your vacation experience. There’s something for everyone and I can’t wait to see families enjoying one of the outdoor pools, racing down the thrilling waterslide, and gathering at the restaurant for a family meal. We know our Club members love to visit new places and create memories. Maybe this year you will consider traveling to one of the Club resorts near a U.S. National Park. The parks are true treasures, and it’s remarkable to think of the foresight President Theodore Roosevelt had in preserving these natural wonders. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the Grand Canyon. I’m particularly excited about an upcoming “rim to rim” hike I’m planning this fall, coupled with a few relaxing days in Sedona. I want to share my recent visit to Maui, my first since the devastating fire. I was deeply impressed by our team members’ dedication and care. The personal ownership and pride they take in their resort, the improvements made over the years, and their resilience in the aftermath of the Lahaina fires were incredibly impactful. Meeting employees who have been with us for decades and hearing their stories reaffirmed our commitment to maintaining high standards and fostering strong connections with our guests and the local culture.
Looking ahead, Club members can continue to expect even more. We recently rebranded our ‘Experiences of a Lifetime’ program, and I am eager to expand this initiative. The feedback from our initial events has been overwhelmingly positive, and I am excited to bring these enriching experiences to more of our owners and resorts. Helping you, your families, and your guests create unforgettable vacations remains our primary mission, and we are dedicated to continuously enhancing our offerings to meet and exceed your expectations.

Renewal
For those looking to explore newly revitalized spaces in Lahaina, a visit to Banyan Tree Park and the reopened heart of town can provide a glimpse into the resilience and renewal of this historic community.
Banyan Tree Park is home to a 150-year-old banyan tree that was damaged during the 2023 fires in Lahaina. In recent months, the tree has gotten healthier and is now sprouting new leaves.
One standout restaurant that has reopened on Front Street is Māla Ocean Tavern. This restaurant, which miraculously survived the Lahaina wildfires, welcomed guests back on February 1st, 2024, providing a delightful dining experience featuring a blend of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options.

Opened Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, this lake spans 11 miles and can take up to 2 hours to completely take it all in. If you are a nature lover, the marshes and vistas along with all the wildlife will surely captivate you. Don’t forget to bring your camera and a snack.
Located in the heart of downtown Orlando is a picturesque treat known as Lake Eola Park. Approximately 1 mile in circumference, Lake Eola is a beautiful location to kayak or take a stroll. Rent a swan shaped paddleboat and enjoy the Orlando skyline, or take in one of the many live events the park hosts year round. Surrounding the lake are several dining options. Lake Eola Park is the perfect option when you just want to feel like you are getting away from it all. Park hours are from 6am-12am. Check the city website for the park’s event schedule.
Tired of walking around? Go to Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures. and climb aboard a 6-passenger airboat. Discover the many wonders of the Florida Everglades on this 45-minute excursion that promises uncultivated scenic environment and encounters with a variety of creatures from the surrounding areas.
Rock Springs at Kelly Park is just a 40-minute drive north of Orlando in Apopka, FL. The park offers a variety of different activities you can indulge in, from hiking and kayaking to paddle boarding and water tubing. The water temperature stays around 68º making any of these water sports an ideal activity for the hot summer months. The park is open from 8am-8pm – we suggest checking park times as they vary by activity and time of year. We love that they limit capacity, and suggest getting there early so you don’t miss out on this great adventure.
Enjoy a variety of outdoor water fun at the Orlando Watersport Complex. This sports complex is a premier destination for water sports enthusiasts, offering a variety of activities, including wakeboarding, water skiing, and knee boarding. Orlando Watersport Complex caters to all skill levels with its state-of-the-art cable systems and boat lake. Visitors can enjoy lessons, practice sessions, and exciting obstacles in a fun, safe environment.
