How can I make reservations?

Contact a Discover by Capital Vacations representative at (866) 275-4035 to reserve your vacation via telephone.

How far in advance should I reserve my vacation?

The earlier you reserve your Discover Vacation package, the better to ensure the best vacation dates and destinations availability. Keep in mind that a reservation can be made only after $750 of the equity has been paid into your Discover Vacation package.

Is my Discover by Capital Vacations reservation guaranteed?

Your vacation reservation is guaranteed upon receipt of your emailed reservation confirmation. Refer to your Discover by Capital Vacations agreement for a full list of terms and conditions.

On what days may I check in?

You may request a variety of check-in days based on availability. Call your Discover by Capital Vacations representative for additional details.

How do I make changes to my reservation?

You may opt to change your reservation at any time with no fee before 14 days of arrival. For changes made fewer than 14 days out, there is a $99 rebooking fee.

Which unit will I be assigned during my vacation?

Specific units are assigned at check-in and are based on availability.

What if I don’t have enough points in my Discover program to book my preferred resort and stay dates?

With Discover by Capital Vacations, if you need more points to complete your reservation you can rent them at the preferred rate of $0.04 per point.

Are the locations available through the Discover program the only travel options?

The Discover by Capital Vacations program features a limited number of resorts and vacation destinations. However, if you choose to purchase full Capital Vacations ownership, you will gain access to travel to all of the 50+ Capital Vacations Club locations, as well as gain access to the additional exchange and travel benefits Capital Vacations offers.

BECOMING A CAPITAL VACATIONS CLUB MEMBER

What if I do not purchase Capital Vacations Club Membership when I return from my Discover Vacation?

You are under no obligation to purchase Club membership during or after your vacation.

Why am I required to take part in a 90-minute presentation if I’m already enrolled in the Discover by Capital Vacations Program?

The presentation informs you about our latest news and developments, is a part of your Discover Vacation package, and is not the same presentation you experienced previously.

What happens to the money paid into the Discover program if I decide to become a Capital Vacations Club member?

• 100% of the equity is applied on first sale of 150,000 points perennial or above. • 50% of the equity is applied on first sale below 150,000 points or a term product. • Equity is only applicable on the Discover member’s first tour.

What happens if I have unused points in my Discover package when I decide to purchase a Capital Vacations Club membership?

Don't worry, you may redeem any of the unused Discover Capital points during the initial year of club ownership.

Can my children use my Discover Vacation package?

Your children are welcome to accompany you on your vacation. With that being said, you and your co-signer are required to attend the 90-minute sales presentation. Couples are required to attend together. If you are unable to attend the full presentation or are ineligible at the time of the tour, you will be charged $100 per night of your rental for your stay.

When can I book my reservation after purchasing Discover by Capital Vacations?

Your Discover points are awarded when $750 of equity is reached in the contract.

ONE-TIME OPTION FOR POINT PURCHASE Participants in the Discover Capital Vacations program are offered a one-time point purchase to complete points needed to complete a reservation requirement. Points may be purchased at 1 cent per point. All Terms & Conditions of Discover Capital Vacations package apply to point purchase. Payment of points purchased are due at the time of purchase.
