SPRINGING INTO SALES SEASON

The CY Sales team has rounded off the 2023-24 financial year on a strong note, with a solid fourth quarter boasting some excellent results for our sellers.

However, there was no time to sit back and bask in these achievements, because we’ve already hit the ground running with a fantastic start to the new financial year. Listings are rolling in and properties are being snapped up at both ends of the market.

Over the last 12 months, we have seen property values in Perth grow by 24 per cent, despite increasing economic pressures caused by rising interest rates and the cost of living. At the same time, stock levels were 23 per cent lower than the previous year. In fact, over the past five years stock levels have fallen by an average of 46 per cent. Yet, the number of homes sold in 2023-24 was 29 per cent above the average yearly level, according to data from CoreLogic. This means that conditions are ripe for sellers looking to get the best possible price for their property.
