It’s been a busy start to the spring selling season, with a number of outstanding properties changing hands over the past few weeks. FAMILY HOMES IN HIGH DEMAND
City-wide vacancy rates remain low as we head into the warmer months, and there has been increased demand for homes that cater to the needs of growing families Homes with three or more bedrooms have been hot property, as families seek rentals after arriving in Perth for employment opportunities or selling their principal place of residence.
West Leederville has been particularly popular with prospective tenants. We recently leased two properties quickly to some excellent tenants, after seeing great numbers through our home opens.
Elsewhere, 30 Harborne Street, Wembley was extremely popular, receiving six applications after just two home opens. The first home open at 4 Cochram Court, Mount Claremont saw 16 groups through and six applications submitted.
We’re also seeing rising demand from relocation agents with clients who are getting ready to move to Perth. These tenants have budgets of up to $3,000 and prefer executive homes in Perth’s premium suburbs.
