Capt.Gerry Gouveia

Captain Gouveia is an aviator extra-ordinaire with in excess of thirty years experience and thousands of flying hours in the jungles of Guyana, South America and the Caribbean. He is an Airline Transport Rated Pilot. He was awarded a Government of Guyana Scholarship to attend one of the world’s most Prestigious Aviation Universities: Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach Florida USA where he completed his Aviation Education. He continued his education in other fields at institutions such as the NTSB Academy in Washington DC, George Washington University in Virginia USA and the Centre for Hemispheric Defence Studies in the National Defence University all in Washington D.C. He is a “Fellow” of the Centre of Hemispheric Defence Studies in Washington DC. His Studies embraced areas such as: National Defense and Security Political Science Tourism Aviation Security Management Aircraft Search & Rescue Aircraft Accident Investigation His career had its genesis in the Guyana
