We’ve reconfigured our popular Eco-Pacs in a smaller bag with the same amount of cereal, so there’s less waste and more efficient shipping. They’ve finally learned to stand up for themselves too, so they’re easier to find and easier to store. Isn’t it nice when the stuff you like gets even more likable?

Our Journey
Toward Sustainability
TREAD LIGHT. TREAD LONG. At Clif Bar & Company, we aspire to be a sustainable food company. This means working to understand the impact of everything we do – from the farmers’ field to our final products. The better we nourish the land, the better it will nourish us. And the better we protect the places we love to play, the longer we - and future generations - will have to enjoy them.
All CLIF® products contain organic ingredients. L E A R N M O R E AT C L I F B A R . C O M / S U S T A I N A B I L I T Y

Visit the Main Stage to meet and listen to amazing keynote speakers; nationally and internationally-renowned authors, public figures, activists, movement leaders and cultural icons. Topics cover all aspects of Green Festival.
Saturday, 3:30PM Rev. Lennox Yearwood, Jr. Green Mojo: How the Green Movement Can Get It Back, and Keep It In the Future
Saturday 12 noon Amy and the Ananda Bliss Tribe Opening Musical Performance Rockin’ Kirtan band bringing the best of traditional Sanskrit chants and Native American songs with upbeat tuning. Kirtan is calling out to God deep within our soul. Feel the Divine seated in your heart, that every name sung is ringing with divine potencies, and all habitual limiting thoughts and patterns are burnt by the power of Kirtan. The mind fills with purity, and the veil of ignorance is torn down.
Climate deniers are regaining momentum, and we are losing traction on the most basic elements of climate science. The green economy movement breathed new life into our climate fight, but with little progress on green job creation on a large scale, we are losing some of our new recruits to the struggle. To win, the green movement must further grow as a global, multiracial, cross-class force across the world.
Saturday, 12:30PM Colin Beavan (aka No Impact Man) How to Live: Help the World by Becoming Yourself We constantly hear how we should “sacrifice” and deprive ourselves to save the planet. What if we are already deprived? What if there is a better life waiting for us that helps the world? Frederick Buechner wrote: “The place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet.” Colin Beavan aka No Impact Man talks about this intersection in his own life, and how you can find it too.
Saturday, 2pm John Perkins 2012 Prophecy: Radical Global Change After WWII, history’s first truly global empire emerged—perhaps surprisingly through the consolidation of economic, as much as military, power. Now we find ourselves catapulted toward a future that appears catastrophic; however, in John Perkins’s view, this time also offers opportunities for systemic change toward a sustainable and just economic order. We have entered a new era, one prophesized by Indigenous cultures around the world.

Saturday, 5pm Jeffrey Smith Don’t Put That In Your Mouth The American Academy of Environmental Medicine now urges all doctors to prescribe diets without any genetically modified foods. Find out about the serious health dangers of GMOs, and how scientists who discovered them were fired, gagged and threatened. Learn how to avoid GMOs, and most importantly, find out how we can eliminate GMOs from our food supply—quickly.
sunday sunday, 12noon Amy Goodman Democracy Now! Award-winning journalist Amy Goodman breaks through corporate media lies, sound-bites and silence with passionate reporting as host of Democracy Now! Her latest bestseller “Breaking the Sound Barrier”, proves the power of independent journalism in the struggle for a better world. From community organizations in New Orleans, to those struggling to survive in Haiti, Goodman illuminates ordinary people who are standing up and speaking out. Goodman is the author of four New York Times bestsellers.

The Most. Fuel-Efficient. Midsize. Sedan. In. America.
And Fusion is the most fuel-efficient in America, which is a pretty big place, with a lot of potential competition. Or not much competition at all, depending on how you’re measuring it.
Either way, it’s definitely good news for Ford, for Fusion and for its drivers.
Think about it –
who wouldn’t love the Fusion Hybrid getting 41 city mpg?
What does that mean exactly?
It means the
41 city mpg
Well, now that we think about it, the 2011 Camry Hybrid, for one. Fusion beats it by a full 10 mpg in the city.
2011 Fusion Hybrid has a lot to say.
OK, so sure, Camry probably isn’t one of Fusion’s biggest fans. But, since Fusion is a hybrid, let’s hope we can find common ground in the fact that
Seriously,
just look at that claim, will you? It’s quite the loaded statement.
its superior fuel economy
First off,
don’t overlook the fact that it’s a 2011. It’s easy to do, but 2011 means it’s new. Shiny and fresh, full of promise and possibilities.
Next – and this is a big one – it’s the most fuel-efficient. That means it has
best-in-its-class mpg.
And how many can say they’re the best in their category?
Usually only one. And in this case, it’s the Fusion Hybrid.
(sometimes it uses no gas at all!)
is better for the environment. So, in the grand scheme of things, the 2011 Fusion Hybrid is doing some good for all of us. Even for the 2011 Camry Hybrid. You’re welcome, Camry Hybrid.
So there you have it. THE
FUSION HYBRID
2011
Let’s break it down.
The most fuel-efficient

midsize sedan in America.*
If you’re thirsty for more fuel economy info, you can find more of it, plus reactions from real Fusion owners, at

*EPA-estimated 41 city/36 hwy/39 combined mpg. Actual mileage will vary. Midsize class per R. L. Polk & Co. vs. 2010/2011 competitors.
