La espera ha sido larga, pero hemos vuelto. Son tiempos difíciles en nuestro país donde apenas ya quedan revistas en papel sobre graffiti. ¿Los culpables? Internet y las redes sociales, que si bien ofrecen muchas ventajas como estar al día y poder ver/compartir material de todo el mundo, nunca llegará a ser el fetiche de una revista tradicional, que puedes tocar y guardar en tu colección con cariño como hacemos nosotros.

The wait has been long, but we are back. These are difficult times in our country, where there are almost no paper journals about graffiti. The culprits? Internet and social networking, while they offer many advantages as “keep up” and be able to see / sharing material from around the world, will never become the fetish of a magazine on paper that you can touch and keep in your collection with affection as we do.

Las imprentas tampoco nos facilitan la labor. Salvo alguna excepción, imprimir se ha vuelto muy costoso si quieres hacer algo de calidad, sobre todo con un tirada tan pequeña como la nuestra. Por ello, una vez más os damos las gracias a todos aquellos que habéis puesto vuestro granito de arena para que esta revista haya salido adelante.Sin vosotros esta revista no existiría.

Este escritor de Pamplona nos da a conocer una pequeña parte de su repertorio de trenes, la mayoría de ellos en el continente europeo y otros dentro de la Península Ibérica. Además de los trenes, Jeas, se hace notar por las calles del país, sobre todo por su ciudad, Pamplona, donde podemos destacar su habilidad en piezas “rápidas”.

Tengo 38 años y soy fotógrafo apasionado por el graffiti desde 1993.

I am 38 years old and i am passionate photographer of graffiti since 1993.

¿A qué te dedicas?

What do you do?

Actualmente estoy trabajando en la seguridad de edificios, oficinas, etc.

I am currently working in the safety of buildings, offices, etc.

¿Cuál ha sido la razón que te hizo empezar a fotografiar graffiti?

What was the reason that made you start photographing graffiti?

Descubrí el graffiti entre 1993-1994 gracias principalmente a las revistas de esa época.

Las pinturas que veía me impresionaban mucho y desde el principio quise conocer más sobre este arte. Al principio, siendo muy joven, empecé comprando muchas revistas pero poco a poco he ido recorriendo terrenos que encontraba cerca de mi casa. Leyendo esas revistas siempre me he dicho que un día yo también acabaría sacando muchísimas fotos de estas pinturas.

I discovered graffiti mainly between 19931994 through the magazines of that era. The paintings I saw impressed me a lot and from the beginning I wanted to know more about this art. At first I was very young, I started to buy many magazines and gradually started to go to spots that were close to my house. Reading those magazines I’ve always said that one day I would end up taking too many pictures of these paintings.

Con la era del carrete era un poco difícil porque se tardaba más en revelar las fotos, etc…

No obstante, gracias a la era digital y a internet esto ha cambiado muchísimo.

Con el paso de los años, y descubriendo cada vez más lugares, ha ido gustándome cada vez más este arte. ¿Qué significa graffiti para ti?

Es muy buena pregunta y no es fácil contestar ya que no soy graffitero, pero para mí, como fotógrafo de este arte, es una pasión que comparto con mis dos compadres Denis y Christian hace ya 9 años.
