Buying a new home can be a complicated process. Despite the ease of finding multiple listings online these days, there’s still a lot to consider. Is the asking price in line with current market values? Are you confident about negotiating a deal, or know what to look for during an escrow closing? Below are four advantages of using a buyer’s agent to help you navigate the complexities of purchasing a home.

Unlike a listing agent, whose job it is to represent the home seller, a buyer’s agent works for you. Not only do they take into account all of your wants and needs when finding houses for you to view, they also work with your budget and your timeline. If a listing agent sees that you have fallen in love with a home, they know you are more likely to consider their initial asking price, while a buyer’s agent can help you see the bigger picture, and may even find you a more reasonably priced home that you love even more.
