(Frame material) Aluminium: reduces carbon footprint by energy savings which outweigh initial energy input by 100 times, corrosion and weathering resistant (low maintenance), will not swell, crack, split or warp over time (longevity, high strength and durability), significantly less expensive than other framing materials, excellent thermal performance, very high recycling rate for a metal, requires only 5% of the initial energy to make it, range of finishes available
