BUENAVISTA, Agusan del Norte - The Commission on Population and Development (POPCOM)- Caraga continues its information and services for the population program amidst contagion, coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19. By May Ann O. Escobal

Regional Director Alexander A. Makinano of POPCOM Caraga issued regional guidelines, including the adoption of a four-day workweek and work-from-home, to ensure the safety and health of the personnel without sacrificing the mandate of the agency, primarily the coordinating arm for the country’s population management program. Under the special work arrangement, they are now enforcing, regular function of the agency will be done with adequate workforce to address the concerns of their program partners and stakeholders, particularly the local population workers and volunteers.
