The setup of servers, network equipment, and other hardware relating to the endeavor were emplaced in the central and regional offices.

During the training-workshop, the participants prepared for the Phase II of the improvement of MGB network such as the implementation of the Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).

In addition, assigning and enforcing security policies for all computers and installing or updating software can be implemented with ease.

On the first day of the trainingworkshop, Jeffrey Ledesma, ICT officer of Information Systems Group-Planning, Policy and International Affairs Division of MGB Central Office, discussed the objectives of the training-workshop.

Also, a review of the AD DS training that was conducted in 2018 at NTT Data Philippines was carried out as a refresher for all participants especially SURIGAO CITY, Surigao del Norte - The personnel of Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) Regional Field Office XIII participated in the Active Directory Domain Services Training-Workshop from January 29 to 31, 2020 held at the MGB Central Office, Manila.
