Herbosa added that DBP continues to work closely with DoTr and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board to continually expand financial interventions that would help the transportation and other affected sectors recover from the impact of the pandemic. He said the bank recognizes the essential role of the transport sector in the country’s overall economic recovery as it caters mostly to workers belonging to the MSME sector, which is considered the backbone of the local economy. “With this, it is imperative for DBP to support initiatives that would not only benefit our local drivers but other small businesses as well,” Herbosa said. The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) of Caraga region recently provided a Productivity Toolbox Orientation to the 27 private employees here. According to RTWPB Board Secretary VI Earl Dela Victoria, the Productivity Toolbox features the different productivity training programs and technical assistance to improve the capability and motivation of employees and enterprises to adopt productivity technologies for continuous improvement toward enterprise development and growth. During the orientation Board Secretary Dela Victoria shared the advocacy of “Productivity Toolbox.” He also introduced the RTWPB basic programs and services to the participants. He emphasized the importance and concepts of “Productivity” and how it will motivate to business owners and its workers to be more competitive and have always a positive values to keep.
