SURSUR IMPLEMENTS AWA FOR CAPITOL EMPLOYEES

Due to the implementation of the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) in the entire province, the provincial government of Surigao del Sur has implemented an alternative work arrangement (AWA) effective June 16, 2021 up to June 30, 2021, in order to safeguard employees’ health while they are actively working.

Governor Alexander Pimentel
said the implementation of the skeleton work was based on the Memorandum No. 112-2021 released by Governor Alexander Pimentel.
However, Orcullo said the provincial department heads were also given an option to either implement such or not, as long as the functions and services rendered by their respective departments will not be hindered. departments, accordingly, applied the skeleton force, of which the employees were divided into teams.
As of press time, Orcullo said all the department offices are now open, and on their regular operation to render their services, after some of the offices were previously on lockdown, and employees were isolated inside their office as part of the protocol in order to contain the transmission of COVID-19.
