POPCOM extends FP services to communities

A total of 30 married women received free family planning service, known as Progestin Subdermal Implant (PSI) from POPCOM Caraga Family Wellness Clinic in the first round.

POPCOM Caraga Family Wellness Clinic successfully served 17 clients from barangay Maningalao, Las Nieves on October 11, while 13 clients from Carmen on October 12, 2022.

Prior to the service provision, the clients also attended a Responsible Parenthood and Family Planning or RPFP class conducted by Jocel Garrido, POPCOM Caraga Program Coordinator for Agusan del Norte.

POPCOM Caraga disclosed that aside from the free PSI insertion, clients were also given hygiene kits. further revealed that the remaining schedules for the POPCOM Caraga Family Wellness Clinic PSI outreach in Agusan del Norte will be conducted in the municipalities of Jabonga on October 18, Kitcharao on October 20, RTR on October 25, and Magallanes on October 26.
