A Message from Nina Curley Dear Reader, At Caramoor, we are continually exploring the art of the possible, and as a supporter, you have made so much possible. Everything we do — from concerts, to young artist development, to music education for kids — exists, improves, and grows because of your generosity. As a performing arts not-for-profit organization, approximately 75% of our revenue comes from contributions. Your importance to our mission cannot be overstated. Fiscal Year 2015 was a wonderful year for Caramoor, and we wanted to make sure we shared with you some information about the incredible impact you had on this organization, and by extension, our community. With so many visitors, the investment you make in Caramoor pays dividends to your friends and neighbors throughout the area. Donor List Caramoor Members Caramoor Members are an integral part of the Caramoor community through their financial support and their devotion to music. Member support helps make possible year-round musical performances, young artist mentoring, and the arts-in-education programs. The Rosen Society The Rosen Society is composed of Caramoor donors of $2,500 and above. Rosen Society members enjoy a number of benefits, such as an invitation to the annual Rosen Society Dinner hosted by Caramoor’s Chairman and CEO, access to select private rehearsals, concert receptions, and private tours of the Rosen House. Walter and Lucie Rosen established the Caramoor estate, bequeathing it to the public as a center for music and art in 1946. Annual contributions from the Rosen Society enable Caramoor to provide world-class musical experiences each year.
