Step into the enchanting world of cabaret with Broadway’s Julie Benko as your guide! Join us for a fabulous evening filled with spellbinding melodies and unique arrangements of songs from Broadway musicals and the Great American Songbook, along with a dash of old-world glamour. Benko’s captivating voice and magnetic stage presence will whisk you away on a journey through the timeless allure of cabaret. Hailed as the 2022 New York Times Breakout Star for Theater for her standby role as Fanny Brice in Funny Girl (she later held the starring role), she joins forces with jazz pianist and husband Jason Yeager.

Young artists from Caramoor’s Evnin Rising Stars mentoring program perform in a pair of afternoon concerts for which the program’s Artistic Director, cellist Marcy Rosen, is joined by distinguished artists

These concerts are the capstone of a weeklong residency at Caramoor in which these young musicians participate in workshops, reading sessions, and ensemble rehearsals, culminating in live performances with their mentors. Since 1992, this program has identified some of the finest musicians of the next generation and helped them cross the threshold from their student years into the early stages of a professional career.

The Terra String Quartet launches its year-long Caramoor residency with three well-loved chamber music masterpieces. A prizewinner at the 2023 Melbourne and Osaka International Chamber Music Competitions, Terra is a vibrant young ensemble committed to infusing the string quartet with equal parts passion, vitality, and humor. Over three concerts throughout the year, Terra shines the spotlight on Benjamin Britten’s three string quartets, which hold a special place in the chamber music repertoire for their innovation, expression, and enduring legacy.

BEGINNER’S LUCK: THE ARTIST’S JOURNEY
Highlighting the talents of Caramoor’s 2025 Schwab Vocal Rising Stars program, Beginner’s Luck features a wide-ranging playlist from German Lieder to Bob Dylan, exploring the chaotic decade between adolescence and adulthood, filled with seemingly endless possibility and endless peril. Revel in the timeless elegance of Haydn and Brahms alongside the debut of a masterpiece by the esteemed Chinese American composer, Lei Liang, in honor of his teacher Chou Wen-chung. Since its inception in 1992, the Brentano String Quartet has performed worldwide and achieved critical acclaim for its passionate, uninhibited interpretations and luxuriously warm sound that promise an afternoon of musical enchantment.

Presented in Collaboration with City Winery Boston-based Twisted Pine takes traditional American music in exhilarating directions. Praised by NPR for its “upbeat, poppy vibe; energetic, driving rhythms; virtuosic solos; and tight harmonies,” the group released its sophomore album Right Now in 2020, injecting its signature bluegrass sound with jazz, folk, funk, and more. “They were once bluegrass,” wrote The Boston Globe, “but … this Boston band has become something else, a wider version of string band, boundary jumpers akin to outfits like Punch Brothers, Nickel Creek, and Crooked Still.” Don’t miss Twisted Pine’s feel-good grooves, fearless improvisation, and precise arrangements at Caramoor.

The Terra String Quartet continues its residency with an exquisite program including madrigals by the late Renaissance Italian composer Maddalena Casulana, the first female composer to have her music published. Terra also pairs two monumental string quartets that draw from Renaissance influences and are characterized by their innovative structures, emotional depth, and the exploration of new musical ideas within the traditional quartet form.

Tour the Rosen House
Caramoor founders Lucie and Walter Rosen believed music and art were meant to be shared, and they envisioned and designed their home specifically for that purpose.
Today, we honor the Rosen family legacy by caring for this historic gift. In 2019 we completed a five-year plan to restore and revitalize the Rosen House both inside and out, preparing the home to receive visitors for years to come.
We ask that you please reserve your tour in advance of your arrival by emailing boxoffice@caramoor.org or by calling 914.232.1252. Tours are docent-guided and are offered in English, French, Italian, or Spanish.

Afternoon Teas
Enjoy a lovely Afternoon Tea served in the Music Room, a unique opportunity for you to relax with friends and family in a breathtaking historic setting. Tea service starts at 1:00pm and includes a variety of tea sandwiches, scones with créme fraiche and preserves, delicious desserts, and a selection of fragrant teas.
Following the tea and included in the price of your ticket, you will also have a chance to take a self-guided tour of select rooms of the Rosen House until 3:30pm. Additionally, prior to the tea, private docent-guided tours are available for purchase in advance.
