Alia was born in the Bhatt family in Mumbai on 15th March’93 and had a fairly grounded childhood, nothing like one would expect a famous film-maker’s daughter would have.

Fondly known as Aloo, her favorite food is Fish, Ragi Chips, French Fries, Rasgulla, DahiChawal, Moong Dal Halwa. However, she turned vegetarian in 2015. Her favorite food-joint is Ellipsis in Mumbai. Bhatt made her debut with Karan Johar’s teen drama, Student of the Year, alongside Siddharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan. Among 500 candidates, she was the one who got selected at the auditions after losing 16kgs.
