A group of experts (architects, archaeologists, mathematicians, etc.) give us their knowledge of many years of research on ornamental art, deciphering the precise language of geometry, working out formulas that reveal the origin of the figures. In search for the origins of this language that reached peaks of perfection in Granada, we achieved a major goal, by gathering together, for the first time, all elements of this art.

Granada, no one doubts this, has charm and captivates the senses of those who visit it, the Alhambra is its hallmark of excellence. With "Recuerdos de la Alhambra" through the artistic expression of the artist David Zaafra and poetic prose of Enrique Seijas senses are haunted and captivated, it is an exclusive trip around the corners of the Alhambra. It will be a unique publication, there is nothing similar. One of the publications, 300 copies, will consist of signed copies with their certificates, and a lithographic legacy of high quality. On the other hand, an unlimited edition would be published for the general public. This project leads to host events to communicate al-Andalus, with an exhibition, lectures, music of several artists who were inspired by the Alhambra and even intercultural encounters with other communities. Partal’s palm tree To reproduce an oasis in the form of marble columns and embossed arches, build dozens of fountains to keep the place cool, maintain a lush vegetation and to perfume the rooms with scents and incense became an obsession to enjoy what they had without completely abandoning what they had left behind.

Arrayanes’ courtyard A pond surrounded by seductive plants, a flash reflected on the silver surface, barely perceptible, steps and the sound of an intimate conversation in any corner of a privileged courtyard are more than enough elements to captivate and love. A history of feelings A thousand years ago (1013), a Berber leader, Zawi ben ZirĂ, was claimed by the inhabitants of Elvira to protect them, in return, he moved the capital to Granada and began the construction of what was the Nazari kingdom, alAndalus. An epic of peaceful coexistence between the three cultures and religions, a place where integrity and hospitality was developed. This publication is masterfully illustrated and scripted in poetic prose by David Zaafran and Enrique Seijas. Zawi Ziri Generous in its delivery, fair in his decisions, fierce in war actions and responsive to the demands of his new people, he fell in love with his kingdom so much that intended to legitimize his rule with a proclamation in northern Africa that came out to be impossible to achieve. Guadix’s Fortress Such was the strategic and social importance of Guadix, that both Iberians and the Romans occupied the area and built adequate defenses erected at key locations to protect it from possible attacks. The Berbers under the command of Zawi Zirí were not going to be less and rehabilitated the walls of the, at the time, old castle and made it a brand new fortress with towers and pads that would make it even less accessible. This is a collection of music, poetry and drawing, inspired by the feeling of alAndalus, led by Hamza Neyzen Castro. It is published in hardcover book format 20x20 cm, containing a CD-Rom and 36 pages in which the poems are presented, some of them declaimed on the CD, in addition to carrying David Zaafra's unpublished illustrations as well as collaborations of poets of recognised prestige. Sounds of the Heart is a project that goes beyond publications, it is an artistical representation that comes directly to mind that is why the Neyzen Hamza Castro, through what he calls intuitive music, has proven throughout his career is very effective in helping to cure some patients. It is currently being made a pre-production to publish a study on music therapy intended to tour around hospitals, seniors and mentally handicapped day care, schools ... by taking this technique which is also supported by some poetry.

Workshop with a duration of 5 to 12 days in which the renowned artist, with a group of 25 art students, paints a mural inspired by al-Andalus, of about 12 meters by 4. The artist explains his technique while masterly lectures on painting and knowledge of al - Andalus. David Zaafra is internationally recognised as a painter of Flamenco, and al-Andalus art. He has conducted many workshops throughout his career in many universities worldwide.

Our foundation is preparing a draft in which the Association of Foundations of Andalucia, other foundations, public and private Spanish institutions are involved. The goal is to create a platform where there will be a biannual meeting with foundations of Arab countries to promote knowledge sharing and joint projects of common interest to ensure the heritage and knowledge of the spirit of al-Andalus will endure. Financial support will be provided for three projects in the competition.
