Launch of Honda CB500X in 2021 was one of the most awaited launches for last year. Honda has unveiled some new features and latest updates on this hike. This bike will be categorized in the touring bikes segment. Honda is the second biggest 2 wheeler manufacturing company in India and with this bike they have certainly raised the competition level in the segment.
New Features: They have decided to replace the front telescopic fork suspension with a new, non-adjustable 41mm, Showa SFF-BP upside-down fork. This improvement was made considering the off road conditions for the touring rides and will better the response from the front tyre. Honda has also introduced aluminium alloy wheels on the front to reduce the kerb weight of the bike by 100gm and a new swingarm which weighs 1 kg lesser than previous one. The bike’s lighter weight will surely improve the handling. In terms of safety, the company is now providing double disc brakes of 296mm each which were previously only a 310mm single disc unit. And Dual Channel Anti-locking Braking systems (ABS) can also be seen in the latest updates. These updates show the work they have done to increase the safety measures which are crucial for long rides. The last and major update is the “Pearl Organic Green/Black” colour theme.
