Angiography Angiography is the Gold Standard test to diagnose blockages in the Heart Arteries. Through a small needle, a sheath is put in the wrist artery and through this sheath a 1.7 mm tube is taken to the heart and through this tube some contrast or dye is injected in the heart arteries.
Angioplasty & Stent placement Angioplasty & Stenting is also performed by radial as well as femoral route if deemed necessary. Patient and his attendants are shown the angiography results on the cath lab screen and counseled regarding further treatment.
Pacemaker Pacemaker is a small matchbox size device with wires or leads connected to it. The leads are put inside the heart to pass current to the heart from the pacemaker. Patient has to be in Hospital for 3- 5 days.
