Social connections

Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough provides a weekly visiting service called Sharing Time which offers friendship and support to older people who are isolated and at risk of feeling lonely.

There are day centres countywide which offer further opportunities to socialise with others who may be isolated at home or to give their carer some time to themselves. If you can’t go online, local library staff can help. You can pop into local library to use a computer, and library staff will be able to help you. Libraries also offer free internet that you can access using your own device.
