If you receive financial support from your local authority and you’re unhappy with the provider’s response, you can ask your local Adult Social Care complaints team for help or to make a complaint on your behalf.
If you think the service is not meeting national standards or Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations, you can contact the CQC. See page 58.
Adult Social Care is always pleased to hear what you have to say about the services it provides or provides financial support for. Please don’t be afraid to raise your concerns, as the Council’s feedback teams can try to put things right for you as soon as possible. They can also learn from your comments and complaints, which can help to improve services.
Adult Social Care also wants to hear your compliments when things go well, or if you have any comments or ideas for how things could be done better.
