PREPARE FOR SUCCESS WORKSHOP LEARNING OUTCOMES Each workshop hosted by the Career Center is purposeful. You will gain more than just networking opportunities and Q&A sessions. There are specific competency alignments and learning outcomes that will help you be Career Ready. Specific competencies and learning outcomes are listed at the beginning of each workshop category in this calendar. • Career CareerManagement Management: Identify and articulate skills, strengths, knowledge, and experiences relevant to the position desired and career goals. Identify areas necessary for professional growth. Able to navigate and explore job options, can take the steps necessary to pursue opportunities, and understands how to self-advocate for opportunities in the workplace. • Leadership Leadership: Leverage the strengths of others to achieve common goals, and use interpersonal skills to coach and develop others. Able to assess and manage emotions and those of others; use empathetic skills to guide and motivate; and organize, prioritize, and delegate work. •Critical CriticalThinking/Problem Thinking/ProblemSolving Solving: Exercise sound reasoning to analyze issues, make decisions, and overcome problems. Able to obtain, interpret, and use knowledge, facts, and data in this process, and may demonstrate originality and inventiveness. •Oral/Written Oral/WrittenCommunications Communications: Articulate thoughts/ideas clearly and effectively in written/oral forms inside and outside the organization. Has public speaking skills; able to express ideas to others; and can write/edit memos, letters, and technical reports clearly and effectively.

On-Campus Interview (OCI) Orientations Employers conduct interviews on-campus for the off-campus jobs they post in the Titan Connection Jobs Database. Attendance is strongly recommended prior to the OCI.
