This past Thursday, June 8, the Flagstaff Active Living for Seniors Conference returned at Providence Place. With an enthusiastic crowd, the event featured speaker Donna Coombs from Seniors FIRST, talking about accessing needed programs, services, and supports to sustain independence. The audience was next treated to a musical performance featuring Flagstaff County native Ethan
Harty, who is also the 2019 and 2022 Canadian Grand Master Fiddler Champion. After a catered roast beef dinner, it was time to get moving with a Senior Aerobics session. A session on the importance of good foot care was full of good information about the benefits of keeping your feet healthy. The day ended with a planting workshop, hosted by Kathryn Fee from Budding Ideas, where each attendee received a free plant and supplies to repot it.
