My name is Carley Baker and I am currently a senior Apparel Merchandising and Product Development student at the University of Arkansas. I am projected to graduate this May, 2016 and am pursing a job in the retail industry. My goal is to find a job that highlights my specific talents and where I can learn and grow into the fashion world. I have experience as a Customer Service Assistant and PR Director at a boutique called Riffraff as well as experience as Marketing Manager for a t-shirt printing company, B-Unlimited. I and skilled in Kaledo, Modaris, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. I am also familiar with the ecommerce site Shopify. I am most interested in a job in styling, merchandising or buying but am very open to all possibilities. My main goal is to open my eyes and get my feet wet in the industry.
Trend Boards
Trend Board created for A/W 2016 ready to wear. Inspiration came from rich tectures including thick knits and fur.
Trend Board created for Dillard’s private label brand Caribbean S/S 2017. Inspiration came from Pirates of the Caribbean and palm leaves.
Trend Board created for BHLDN S/S Bridal Line. Inspiration came from four different emerging bridal trends including ornate details mimicking the renaissance, the trend of applique placement on sheer fabric, ruffles redefined and the up and coming trends of pantsuits and two pieces in brial wear.
Trend Board created for Bridal S/S 2017. Inspiration came from Pantone’s colors of the year as well as the use of classic frabrics on new brial silhouettes.

This logo is created for personal use on a business card, resume or website. It was createed using InDesign.
Business Logo
This logo was created in InDesign for a potential business. It was designed for a contemporary/ simplistic women’s boutique.
Personal Logo Hang Tag This tag was created through InDesign and desplays my personal logo on the front and bar code on the back. This tag design could be used in the future should I chose to open my own store.
