“We have two Kaare Klint safari chairs in a beautiful green that have been bleached by the sun throughout the years in the summerhouse. They were bought by my husband’s grandmother a long time ago. She is no longer here, but I know of Kaare Klint through her, and I find there is something beautiful in the possibility of getting to know someone across time this way.”

“My collecting of Kaare Klint furniture started with the Faaborg chair when I saw it at the Faaborg Art Museum many years ago. My relationship to Klint’s designs hasn’t changed over the years. For a brief period, I thought the designs might have become a bit old-fashioned, but it was short-lived, and today, I’m glad I didn’t act on it.”
