As imagens apresentadas neste livro foram realizadas entre os anos 2012 e 2013 ao longo do processo de demolição do Elevado da Perimetral, no Rio de Janeiro. Trata-se investigação de uma paisagem e o esforço em buscar novas visualidades e possibilidades para a sua representação. É a tentativa de compreender o espaço além da sua aparência e ao mesmo tempo explorar o meio fotográfico. Um jogo desafiador onde pude experimentar diferentes formas de fotografar e, a partir daí, questionar a forma como enxergo o mundo.
(The images in this book were made between the years of 2012 and 2013 along the Perimetral highway demolition process, in Rio de Janeiro. It is the research of a landscape and the effort to seek new visualities and possibilities for its representation. It is the attempt to understand the space beyond its appearance while exploring the photographic medium. A challenging game where I could try different ways to photograph and, from there, to question the way I see the world.)
