Butterfly Life Cycle

This is the first stage of a butterfly the egg they are tiny they are oval they are yellow there are 6 of them they are together some of them are on top of the leaf

Catterpillar This is the second stage. The catterpillars has two different types of legs. They breath with their spiracles. This spiracles are green and black. Caterpillar have 14 legs, 6 eyes, 1 mouth and 1 head capsule.

This is the third stage the crysalis the catterpillar uses the silk to make the crysalis. The crysalis’ head is oval you can see on the adbomen lines and segments. In this stage the Caterpillar suffers a change. This change is called metamorphosis.

Butterfly • The last stage is the butterfly. They don´t fly inmediatedly becuase they need to dry its wings. They drink nectar from the flowers. They use their wings to camouflage and they use the antennae, eyes and legs to find food.
