Where’s daddy’s beard? Christmas is coming! Jonay has been waiting for this holiday for a long time. He loves presents and, this year, Jonay wants the best present in the world! But there is a big problem; he doesn’t know what it is. In December, Jonay lives with his grandma in Los Cristianos. Yurena, his grandmother, is a sweet person. She has short curly grey hair and brown eyes. She’s also very caring and kind. Jonay is short and thin. He’s very forgetful and funny. One day, he is thinking about the best present of the world and asks Yurena: -.Grandma! What is the best thing that you could have on Christmas Day? -. Ooh darling! The best thing for Christmas Day is daddy Teide's beard. -. What is the meaning of daddy Teide's beard? – He asks. -. It’s the snow on El Teide, sweetheart. I love it, because if it’s snowing during the 25th of December, we will have a wonderful year. Jonay thinks that it’s not the best present because he likes more expensive objects: tablets, computers, games… but he doesn’t say anything. A few days later, he remembers that he has not written his letter to Santa Claus yet, and it's the 20th of December! He doesn’t have time and he only writes: “I want the best present in the world.” He sends it to the North Pole. Finally! It is the 25th of December! Jonay gets up early and runs to the Christmas tree, but Santa Claus just left a small letter, saying: “the best present in the world is in El Teide. Everyone goes there! It’s snowing!” The whole family have an excellent day with their friends and presents. Jonay finds out that the best present in the world is a great moment with his loved ones.
