Carlos Moncada

Architecture, visuals, interactive, installations. I am a practicing Architect from Bogota, Colombia; currently based in Los Angeles, California. My work is focused on experimentation, persistent search for new tools, and particularly a strong conviction of design as research and practice. I am graduated at Los Andes University in Bogota, Colombia and Masters in Design Research on Media art and Architecture at SciARC (Southern California Institute of Architecture. Throughout my experience, I have been always seeking innovative tools to develop new concepts and notions in architecture. In this process, as my portfolio shows, I have developed different proposals for public buildings, housing urban planning, media art, interaction and visual projects, convinced that the foundations of architecture are constant learning, serious research and creative experimentation. .
