Overview:
I created a planting design for the College of Business Administration at Cal Poly Pomona. The Dean of the college wanted to see what were some possibilities for the site. My project was selected out of 70 student designs.
The Silver Lake Reservoir project was a joined studio with Mia Leher & Associates, to design a possible proposal for the City of Echo Park.

Overview:
The Better Philadelphia Challenge was an urban design project, where we needed to promote a healthier living style of the people of Belmont and Mantua.
The LAGI competition was another urban design project, where we needed to design a site that will generate energy and preserve wildlife.
The extras section includes pictures of a bench that I designed during my 3rd year construction class. The bench was selected to be put in Balboa Park, Japanese Friendship Garden.

Our intent for the design presented to the City of Echo Park was to keep one of the resevoirs open to control the water intake into the site. We also expanded the existing meadow area for people to lounge, However, our main focus was the canyon with our Golden Light structure.
17
In the illustration shown, i wanted to give the people of echo park an experience of walking through this man made canyon.

Main intent with this design was to create something that would generate energy for santa monica. The site location is juxstopose with the pier. What we decided to do was to design this structure which will capture solar energy by putting photovoltaics in the voids of the structure, The form derives from parameters that we decided were important to the city of santa monica and that will effect the ecology of the bay. we decided to re-design the existing break water by creating these nodes still working on this project, final submital for were smaller spcies can grow and once in their adult stage leave these the competition is May 15,2016 communities that were designed to protect them.
