GLOSSARY:
TOURISM : Tourism comprises the activities of persons travelling to and staying in places outside their usual.
VISITOR : A traveller taking a trip to a destination outside his usual environment, for less than a year for any purpose.
There are two types of visitor:
EXCURSIONISTS: They are same day visitors which stay in the place less than 24h. TOURIST: they are overnight visitor which travel more than 24 h. DOMESTIC TOURISM: Activities of a resident visitor within the region of reference. INBOUND TOURISM: Activities of a non-resident visitor within the region of reference.
OUTBOUND TOURISM: Activities of a resident visitor travelling to other regions of the world. TOURIST FLOW: Tourist flow is a flows or spatial interaction between places, with the destination area containing a surplus of a commodity and the generating area having a demand for a commodity.
Public and Private Tourist Institutions: Identify the main public and private tourist institutions in Andalucia and Granada and search for their characteristics, functions and structures. We've got different institutions in Andalucia, the main organization is: Consejeria de Turismo y Cultura: By the competences that the Statute of Autonomy give to them are: The relative ones to the tourism and to the sport by means of the planning, the arrangement, the promotion and the development of the above mentioned matters. The manager of this is Francisco Javier Fernández Hernández . Like other institutions that we can find we can see: Empresa Pública para la Gestión del Turismo y del Deporte de Andalucía, S.A. It have got like main goals the development of activitys matched with the touristic industry, the manage of touristic lodging, the creation of projects and work for the improve of the touristic industry. Andalusian tourism S.A. is a public company assigned to the Council of Tourism and Sport of the Meeting of Andalusia. It was constituted in December, 1992, His headquarters has in “antiguo Mesón” de San Rafael de la Calle Puerta Nueva de Málaga. Apartahotel Trevenque, S.A. It was constituted in Granada, January 13, 1995, adopting the form of mercantile anonymous company(society), by the name of Apartahotel Trevenque, S.A. The function of the company(society) takes root in the transfer of use of the building In Apartahotel Trevenque to the association Sierra Nevada Sport Club in order that it is exploited in the regime(diet) of utilization by shifts . The manager of this organization is MARIA JOSÉ LÓPEZ GONZÁLEZ Privated association: Federación de Empresarios de Hostelería de Andalucía (HORECA-Andalucía) Antonio de María Ceballos has become the manager he was before that from the association of Cadiz.

From his constitution it has chased to agglutinate to all the subsectors implied with this activity. The Federation develops numerous activities of promotion, formation and information. Patronato provincial de turismo Is an organ dependent on the Deputation of Granada created in 1982. It has three main goals: -To promote, both in the national area and in the international one, the rich and varied tourist offer of the province and to consolidate Granada as vacation destination(destiny). -To promote the tourist development of the province of Granada to turn the tourism into engine of his(her,your) economy and into an important source(fountain) of employment and income. -To fidelize the tourist who visits the province, offering him(her) attention and information professionalized to make his(her,your) stay more pleasing and satisfactory.
GRANADA: Delegación Territorial de Cultura, Turismo y Deporte en Granada : It’s a public organism which depends from the Junta De Andalucia, representing it in Granada and it’s province. The following functions and competences in the area of his province: a) The ordinary representation of the Councils which peripheral services are assigned in the Territorial Delegation and, in his case, of the agencies assigned or dependent on the Councils. b) To direct, under the functional dependence of the corresponding managerial centers, the administrative units belonging to the Delegation. c) To exercise the headquarters of the whole personnel of the Delegation and the ordinary
competences administration and management of the same one that expressly him delegue. d) To constitute the ordinary riverbed of relation with the central services of the Consejerías which peripheral services. Agencia Albaicín Granada It takes charge of the matters and obligations acquired in the relative thing to the protection of the cultural heritage as consequence of the declaration of the neighborhood of the Albaicin as World heritage on the part of the UNESCO in 1994 - as extension of the Alhambra and the Generalife declared in 1984-. From his creation in 1998, the Agency Albaicin - Granada has guarded over the protection, conservation and diffusion of the historical heritage of the neighborhood. In this line of work the Agency has managed the European programs of revitalización urban financed jointly with funds FEDER of which the city of Granada has been a beneficiary in the last ten years. At present the Agency Albaicin Granada, close to his statuesque labor of permanent observatory of the Albaicin to guarantee the safeguard of the values for which World heritage was declared by the UNESCO, she is the manager from 2008 of the management of the Plan of Tourism of the city of Granada. Granada Convention Bureau The Granada Convention Bureau is the specific and professional instrument of promotion of Granada as destination) MICE. His principal purpose is to offer advice and impartial support to the organizers of events and congresses. Community Manager: A community manager is the person which works in the social media of an enterprise or public institution, this person tries to arrive a bigger number of followers to increase the image of the society in the market. Manager of a hotel: Is the person in charge of the direction of a Hotel, also he is the boss of all the employees of a hotel. Receptionist: This job is in lot of parts of tourism, he’s in Hotels, Travel agencies, etc… He is the face of their Enterprise and they work for the client giving them information and selling services mainly and helping in whatever they need.` Waitress: The gastronomy is one of the most important sectors inside the tourism, so this job is really important because they attend the client when he’s in seated to eat or drink something. Housekeeper: Is the person in charger in manage, revise and control of the cleaning of a touristic lodging. Animation Staff: They are the people which work for the entertainment of the clients.

The Pablo Ruiz Picasso Cultural Center of Torremolinos will host the 1st Internatonal Congress 'Transversal Tourism and Landscape' that will take place on February 8, 9 and 10 of 2018 and will feature speakers from Spain, the United States, Germany, Denmark and Italy, among others. In this frst internatonal congress, the mayor of Torremolinos, José Ortz, will expose the change of 'city model' and tourist model through the recovery of urban spaces that are going to be carried out in the city. •
