By Scott Chadwick, City Manager In what seems like a blink of an eye, we’re in a new season marked by the new fiscal year and for many families, the start of a new school year. One of the things that’s remained consistent though, and one of the many things we have become really good at during the COVID-19 pandemic, is adapting to a changing environment. So, as we adapt again, and keep adapting as needed to keep ourselves and our community safe, I’m hopeful for what’s to come. As a city, I’m proud that we continue to be in a position that serves our community at the highest levels, which includes hiring the needed staff across various departments. Check out all the new smiling faces who are now part of Team Carlsbad! Whether you’re just starting your service with the city, or you’re seasoned public servants, I’m proud of your dedication and connections to each other and to our community.
