International Week Culminating Activity We hope you’ll join us in this culminating activity for International Week. It is a virtual, mission-based family game inspired by International Week activities and Indigenous peoples’ respect and reliance on nature. Score points for each mission your family completes by uploading a photo, video, or text submission using the GooseChase app. Families with the greatest number of points will be announced in our newsletter. The GooseChase game will be live from Friday, November 20, 12:00 p.m. - Monday, November 30, 8:00 p.m. How many missions will your family be able to complete before the game ends? Here’s how to play - but not until the game goes live on Friday, November 20, at noon: Download the GooseChase app (Android or iPhone). Choose to play as a guest or register for a free personal account. Enter the game code TBD to get started. Password is “patriots”. Choose a player name for your family and join the game! Please note that you must take photos and videos from within the app. GooseChase does not allow you to select from your camera roll when submitting evidence for mission completion. 6. Using the navigation tabs, you can keep track of what missions you’ve completed and how you are doing compared to other families. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
To give you an overview of what’s in store, we’ve included the missions here.

Once you’re done with this 15-20 minute activity, share a picture of your certificate of completion to score these points. https://lnt.org/get-involved/training-courses/peak-online-course/

Make leaf rubbings by placing the leaf on a hard surface (clipboard if away from your home) with the veins facing up and then place a white piece of paper on it and rub a crayon on its side. When done, return the leaves to where you found them. Share a picture of your final leaf rubbings or have someone take a video of you completing your leaf rubbing.
