Eaton Series 5900 Chopper Plasma Power Supply

Built for rugged conditions. The Eaton Chopper Plasma Power Supplies 5900 Series are high performance sources for powering plasma torches and DC arc furnaces. Dependability is achieved through the use of conservatively rated magnetics and power modules. Faster system response achieved by switching power modules results in greater arc stability and an increase of efficiency, high power factor, low line harmonics and low maintenance. With different preferences, this product can be customer specified to exact system requirments.

High performance

Multiple torch configurations

Faster system response

Greater arc stability

Economically advantageous

otal system power can be T limited to the maximum acceptable load power

Reduces the overall installation footprint

Energy efficient When compared to traditional phase controlled topologies. •

Reduced transformer harmonics

igher operating H power factor

Industrial construction With rugged enclosures, this product is built with a sturdy base for fork or overhead lifting. •

Typically single piece construction for systems under 5MW reduces on site assembly time and expense

Dust tight liquid cooled construction enables the power supply to be installed in harsh environments

Considerable system savings

High track record Our team of engineers and technicians have over a century of combined experience with plasma power supplies.
