It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a dear husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Robert Boutin, of Manor, SK, died peacefully to eternal life on Thursday, February 15th at Deer View Lodge in Wawota, SK at the age of 82 years. Dad was born on the family farm near Cantal, SK on April 10, 1935, son of Alcide and Flore-Emma Boutin (née Donais). He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Solange (née Paulhus); his daughter Diane (Gilles-Brett, Courtney, Jaime-Lynn), his three sons, Roger (Lisa-Ty), Edward (Elaine-Cody), and Brian (Julie-Amélie, Jonah). He is also survived by his sisters, Armande, Irène, Isabelle (Ken), Gisèle (Greg), Hélène (René), and Eveline (Roger); his brother Wilfrid (Alyse), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Robert is predeceased by his parents; his step mother Bernadette; close uncle Allyre; his sister Jeannette (Hervé & Alex); his brother Lionel (Marie Anna) & brothers-in-law Howard, Laurier. Dad raised his family on a mixed farm of grain and cattle. Dad enjoyed socializing with all those who crossed his path in town at the café and in the countryside. Dad was a model of �inding balance between family, leisure and work. He spent the later years of his life on road trips camping, dancing or jamming with his fellow musical friends. Robert spent his �inal years at the Deer View Lodge in Wawota and appreciated the support of the health care professionals who cared for him and all the friends and family that visited him. He will remembered for his jolly manner, contagious smile, and his gift of conversation. Prayers were said on Monday, February 19th, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, February 20th, 2018 at 2 :00 p.m. Both services were held at Church of Our Lady in Carlyle, Saskatchewan with Father Yodel Cereno celebating. Interment followed at Manor Cemetery, Manor Saskatchewan. In lieu of �lowers, a donation may be made to the Health and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan at www.hsf.ca. Marlene Caroline Hannah (Fessler)
Surrounded by her family, Marlene passed peacefully to God’s arms at the Moose Mountain Lodge in Carlyle Saskatchewan, at the age of 82. Marlene is predeceased by her parents, John and Vera Fessler, sisters, Thelma (Cliff) Elder, Addie (Bob) Ferguson, Hazel (Ken) Coward and her brother, Bill (Phyllis) Fessler. She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Dale Hannah; son, Richard (Denise), Rick’s daughter, Cara Leigh (Rob) and their children, Chase and Paige and Denise’s son, Dontae; daughter, Heather (James) and their daughter, Hannah as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Marlene grew up in Drinkwater, Saskatchewan surrounded by family and wheat �ields. She met the love of her life Dale, while hanging over the hockey boards at the ice rink in the nearby town of Roleau, Saskatchewan. They were married February 19, 1955. Marlene was a stay at home Mom who prided herself on keeping a clean house, cooking and looking after her family. Marlene excelled in this role, and was a wonderful loving wife, mother and grandma. Marlene and Dale enjoyed many happy summers at White Bear Lake, where they hosted and attended numerous celebrations, golf tournaments, and bon �ires. Marlene loved to have fun, play the piano and sing. For many years Marlene and Dale spent winters in Texas and Arizona enjoying their retirement. Their prayers were answered when the grandchildren arrived. Dressing up, singing, going to the beach, boat rides and parades were shared during this chapter of life. In Marlene’s last years, she resided at Moose Mountain Lodge where she received the best of care. Our family is so grateful to all the staff there. Thank you for all your kindness. The Memorial Service for Marlene will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from Carlyle United Church, Carlyle, Saskatchewan with Sandy Dalziel and Jaclyn Evaschesen of�iciating. Lunch and fellowship will follow at the church. Interment will take place at a later date in Southerland Cemetery, Carlyle, Saskatchewan.
