Carmel Catholic High School empowers students to be... Reflective Thinkers
Carmel Catholic’s goal is to empower students to think for themselves – to approach new challenges and situations in a thoughtful manner. We empower students to reflect upon the concepts they learn and to apply them within and outside of a discipline of study.
Grateful Stewards
The Carmel Catholic legacy of spreading the gospel message is apparent in prayer services and school liturgies, service to the community, outreach to the poor and care and concern for our planet. Through such experience, students come to better appreciate what they have been given, and find themselves happy to use their own gifts to better their communities.
and Responsible Leaders
At Carmel Catholic, we empower students to recognize their gifts so that they can lead responsibly. We provide students opportunities to assume leadership roles in the classroom, in clubs and on teams, but leadership is more than just a position or title; students also lead by example, modeling behaviors and attitudes that improve the thinking and learning that takes place. We call on students to recognize their responsibility to their communities, large and small, and to act in those communities in responsible ways, cognizant of the impact their choices can have upon others and the world around them.
as an expression of faith. 2
For more than 50 years, Carmel Catholic High School has continued a rich tradition of academic excellence. As a college preparatory school, we strive to provide every opportunity for students to succeed, allowing them to become reflective, grateful and responsible individuals. Corsairs join a thriving community of more than 15,000 alumni that continue to lead lives of faith and service well beyond their high school years. 3
