Let’s analyse the words one by one: 内外 (naigai) = inside and outside, at home and abroad 内 = internal we have the following pronunciation for this kanji ない - nai だい - dai うち - chi いる - iru いれる - ireru Example of use is 家内 - kanai, my wife 外 - outside, foreign, other, except with the following possible pronunciation: ge, gai, ui, soto, hoka, hazusu, hazureru. Example of use: 外す- hazusu that means unfasten, unbutton, remove, take off, leave, slip away, avoid
