Throughout my education at The Art Institute of California-San Francisco, I discovered my love for fashion journalism. Fashion journalism appeals to me because I enjoy writing, researching, and creating fashion editorials. My inspiration to become a fashion journalist came from my fondness of reading such fashion magazines as Vanity Fair and Vogue. These magazines sparked my interest in becoming a fashion editor, and to one day run a magazine of my own. While persuing my bachelors degree, I learned to not only perfect my writing skills, but have also learned how to illustrate my words through design programs such as InDesign and Photoshop. Through these programs I have been able to learn how to create professional editorial articles. Critical analyzing, eloquent writing, and fashion forecasting are vital skills I have gained and hope to apply in my future career as a fashion journalist.
