Have you ever thought how many males and females are working in the Academy? The Philippine Merchant Marine Academy (PMMA) is a Maritime Institution that has been shaped historically by males. As of June 2014, approximately, there are 182 regular employees composed of male and female. The table below presents the headcount of employees by gender.

These units have the highest number of male employees compared to other offices. These are the areas with the manliest jobs/field works.

The 33% female personnel are mostly employed inside the office as administrative officer/staff with paper works, clerical and secretarial tasks.
