Come sing, dance and act out your favorite character from Little Mermaid. Whether you want to play Ariel or Prince Eric, this workshop is for you! Engage in age appropriate theater games, vocal warm-ups and dance moves. Inclass performance on the last day of class. No class April 29.

The community is invited to watch our youth theatre production of The Little Mermaid Jr. Journey “under the sea” with Ariel and her aquatic friends in Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr. Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most beloved stories, Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR. is an enchanting look at the sacrifices we all make for love and acceptance. In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home and her fins behind and live in the world above. But first, she’ll have to defy her father, King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she’s the girl whose enchanting voice he’s been seeking.

PERFORMING ARTS Beauty and the Beast Jr. Theatre Production Auditions: May 13-14 Callbacks: May 14-15 Fountain View Recreation Center Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr. is a fantastic adaptation of the story of transformation and tolerance. The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity. Everyone registered will have a part in the play. Auditions and callbacks are for casting purposes only. Practices will be held at Fountain View Recreation Center Mondays and Wednesdays after 4pm beginning in June, two hours each practice. Performances will be late July/early August. Practice and performance schedules will be distributed after auditions. $250R/$270NR

Swim Team Conditioning Swim-A-Thon The Swim-A-Thon is a month-long swim competition between all participants, with the objective of seeing who can swim the most laps within a month. After a participant finishes their swim session, they report their laps to the front desk who will record it. Participants are allowed to swim multiple times within a day, and any form of swimming is allowed (regular swimming, kicking only, etc.). Every week, the current results will be posted by the Aquatics Supervisor on the pool office window. Note: The Swim-A-Thon requires a full-access or lap swim membership. Starting 4/3-4/30
