Grade 1-2 players are provided a tee shirt, and grade 3+ players are provided with a reversible jersey Games are normally played Saturdays with the exception of grade 7-8 boys are played on Sundays
All games are played within Carol Stream with exception to the girl's leagues and 7th/8th boys that are intervillage and can be played in another town.
Players register individually but can request to play with friends. Teams consist of 3 - 5 players. All participants receive a shirt.

Travel softball teams compete in a league setting with games based in Carol Stream The league consists of an 8-game season followed by a single elimination playoff Teams register in the same age bracket that they will compete in spring 2025 10U-14U games are played

Meet and Greet
The meet and greet is a set time where players, parents and coaches meet each other and hand out any necessary information and in some cases receive their uniforms
Player Evaluations
Players get rated based on each skill set for that particular sport for the draft/team placement Drafts are typically for ages 10U and above All players are encouraged to attend
Placed on a Specific Team
Due to the nature of the program, we cannot accept any coach, player or carpool requests However, one mutual friendship request is honored for players any youth sports league for 2nd grade/8U and younger along with youth volleyball Request deadlines are the same as registration deadlines (not an early bird)

Players placed on a waitlist are not guaranteed placement on a team Team placement will only be done when a team is below the established maximum number of participants Players will not be added to any team one week prior to the first scheduled game
For all other leagues, playing up is allowed by one age or grade level Any player seeking to play up must get permission from the league supervisor prior to registration Any participant playing up must also register in person

Carol Stream Travel Softball and Baseball Association
(CSTSBA) offers a skill developing and competitive travel baseball and softball experience for boys and girls ages 9-15 Cougars baseball teams compete in the West Suburban Baseball League (WSBL) along with various tournaments in the area Storm softball teams compete in various leagues and tournaments. Tryouts for both baseball & softball are held each year in July. Check our website for details and email CSTSBA if you’re interested in joining or coaching.
