CONCEPT This  is  an  animal  shelter  designed  for  an  organization  looking for  a  building  big  enough  to  give  place  to  300  dogs  and  cats. The  design  is  structured  by  three  different  volumes  that  give  respond  to  the  different  necessities  of  the  user.  The  biggest  and  most  important  volume  is  intended  for  the  animals  and is  formed  by  a  central  courtyard  that  provides  natural  air  and  is  fo light  to  every  space  in  the  building.  The  second  and  central  volume  is  intended  for  social  areas  and  distributor.  Finally,  the  third  and  smallest  building  is  for  administration  purposes.

SITE  ANALYSIS This  is  an  urbanism  project  intended  for  the  regeneration  of Arroyo  Seco,  a  dry  creek  surrounded  for  a  marginalized  area formed  by  two  hills. The  general  objetive  was  to  improve  the  quality  life  of  the  area and  reduce  the  violence  through  the  use  of  architecture.  The  project  consists  in  a  series  of  systems  with  different  programs  that  create  social  situations  all  along  the  creek,  inviting  the  people  to  live  the  creek  when  is  dry,  and  improving  its  infrastructure  in  case  of  rain.

LOCATION: Parque Tecnológico, Monterrey, N.L. Mexico

CONCEPT This is the project for a library that only opens at night and is located in the center of a park surrounded by a commercial and living area near the University Campus. The Master Plan integrates the library with the park dividing it in three areas and connecting them through circular plazas. The concept of the library is formed by two solid volumes that connect to each other by glass and a central corridor of water other by glass and a central corridor mirrors and threes. The biggest volume is intended for the private library program, while the smallest volume is intended for public and social use.

SITE  ANALYSIS As  Denmark´s  capital,  Copenhagen  is  a  fishing  village  sitting  on  the coastal  islands  of  Zealand  and  Amager.  It  is  considered  as  the  best  city  to  live  in  the  world  due  to  its  safety,  cultural,  political  and  eco-­ nomical  possibilities.  With  a  total  of  20  libraries  in  the  city,  this  ty-­  pology   is  considered  fundamental  for  its  social  development. The  site  is  currently  used  as  a  parking  lot.  Located  between  a  park The  si and  an  old  hotel  counts  with  a  view  to  one  of  the  most  iconic  buil-­ dings  of  the  city,  the  Opera  House.

SITE  ANALYSIS The  site  is  located  in  the  historical  area  of  San  Antonio.  It  is  curren-­ tly  used  as  a  parking  lot  but  will  be  integrated  to  a  major  renovation plan  for  the  San  Pedro  Creek.  Its  location  is  considered  privileged  due  to  its  proximity  to  cultural  and  touristic  places.  The  market  should  in-­ clude  enclosed  and  open  areas  for  different  types  of  vendors.

The  site  is  located  at  the  outskirts  of  a  little  town  in  Texas.  The  project  is  about the  renovation  of  a  visitor  service  center  for  the  Chinati  Foundation  Museum. This  visitor  center  should  be  designed  following  Donald  Judd´s  ideals,  this includes  respecting  virgin  lands  and  the  current  art  exhibition.
