No active practice at this time.. However: Army Vet, Retired(still sworn) Deputy Sheriff. A break in BOTH services, led me to seek my MD, but I missed law enforcement, but not before obtaining my ND & basic boards, with more study into herbology, homeopathics, and natural endocrine hormones(adrenal, androgenic). Every type of Dr. should be familiar with many of these, even if simply for patient safety/familiarization, as today people commonly choose to use medicines concurrently with OTC herbal products. My opinion is based on the fact that many individuals have no knowledge of interactions/contraindications of poly-pharmacy with herbs and synthetic meds.
