Complementary and Alternative Medicine or CAM, has become more and more popular and accepted as an often times valid concurrent modality or on its own. As in the past, Naturopathic medicine or Naturopathy, may still be frowned upon by many physicians, even if for purely philosophical reasons or quackery. However, as more and more patients begin to question their doctors about supplements and natural modalities, medicine has began to do more studies, while listening to their patients. Maybe not in all cases, as we are all biochemically different and respond to medicines differently at times, but in some, very valid results have been successful. While this is not to be taken as medical advice and one should always consult their primary care physician, this is a short look at what has been of use in he past. Using one's own judgement, along with proper medical supervision, there could be a positive outcome for one of those times that medicine says there is nothing else we can do for you.
